We hope that you are all enjoying your Family Read Aloud The
Seven Wonders of Sassafras Springs. Our Read Aloud began
with an assembly that included a Readers Theater introduced the
story to all of our students through a presentation of the first
9 pages of the story. Mrs. Evans was our narrator, Mrs. Charlot
was Aunt Pretty, Mr. Smith was Pa, and Brenden Perry was Eben.
Information about what pages to read each night have been sent
home in either hard copy or email. The nightly readings are
also listed on the blue book mark each family was provided.

We hope that our Family Read Aloud is a “wonderful” family
experience. Mrs. Charlot is receiving a very high number of
student answers to our daily ponders. Students are curious
about what will be put into the showcase each day. Be sure and
