Shirts and blouses that are not appropriate for school
include: |

Sleeveless undershirts or tank tops (less than 3
adult fingers-wide straps), spaghetti straps.
See-through blouses.
Half shirts that show the stomach.

Clothing
that advertises alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, or has
suggestive words or pictures are not appropriate for school. |

|
Make-up,
body glitter, and hair paint are not appropriate for school.
Any hair dye must be in a "natural" color. |

Pants/shorts/skirts: |

Pants/shorts/skirts
must rise high enough so that the stomach is covered;
Shorts and skirts need to be finger tip length or
longer;
Shorts need to be hemmed;
No spandex
clothing; and
No clothing that advertises. |

Children
need safe shoes at school.
Students are required to have athletic shoes for PE
instruction. Children are asked to wear appropriate shoes for
recess play. The following shoes are not appropriate for
school: shoes with cleats, flip flops, high heels, platform
shoes, and shoes that convert into skates. |
